Children’s Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry at First United Methodist Church is a joyful and engaging place where kids learn about God’s love in ways that are fun, meaningful, and age-appropriate. Through Bible stories, creative activities, music, and fellowship, children build friendships, grow in faith, and discover how to live out God’s love in their everyday lives. Our dedicated volunteers and leaders create a safe, welcoming community where every child feels valued, encouraged, and excited to belong.
Youth Group
Our Youth Ministry at First United Methodist Church is a welcoming community where students can explore faith, ask honest questions, and build lasting friendships. Through meaningful discussions, service projects, worship, and fun activities, our youth grow in their relationship with God and learn how to live out their faith in everyday life. Our caring leaders are committed to creating a safe, supportive space where every young person feels accepted, encouraged, and empowered to make a difference.
Senior Ministry
Our Senior Ministry at First United Methodist Church is a vibrant community where older adults gather for fellowship, spiritual growth, and mutual support. Through Bible studies, service opportunities, social events, and outreach, we nurture meaningful relationships and celebrate the wisdom, experience, and gifts of our senior members. Whether staying active in ministry or simply enjoying time together, this is a welcoming place to grow in faith, share in friendship, and continue serving God and others.
Hillsville Preschool Program
The Hillsville Preschool Ministry hosted at First United Methodist Church provides a nurturing, faith-filled environment where young children can learn, grow, and discover God’s love. Through play-based learning, music, stories, and hands-on activities, we encourage curiosity, kindness, and confidence while building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and spiritual growth. The caring teachers partner with families to create a safe, joyful space where every child is known, loved, and celebrated.
